"Wake up." I heard someone whisper as they sat down next to me and put their hand over my belly button. I giggled and opened my eyes. "Charlie?" I asked. "Who else would it be, Love?" He asked. I sat up and started to cry. I couldn't beleive my eyes. "Don't cry, love." He said as he wiped a tear off my cheek. "I miss you so much." I told him. "I am always with you." He said. "I always will be." I started crying even harder. "But, I miss you being with me." I said. "Everything bad that went on was all my fault." "Don't say that, Love." He said softly. "Everything happens for a reason." "I know." I said. "This guy seems to treat you well." He said pointing at Simon sound asleep. "He does." I said nodding. He smiled. "I'm glad." There was a long silence. "I have to go now, beautiful." He said. "No!" I shouted crying. "Don't leave me again!" I started crying hysterically. "No!" I screamed. "I have to." He said turning around and walking towards the door. "NO! NO! Stay! Don't leave me again!" I yelled. "Robyn!" I heard Simon shout. I opened my eyes. "What is it?" He asked. He put his arms around me and held me tightly. I couldn't stop crying. "It was Charlie. He was here." I sobbed. Simon didn't say anything. He just continued to hold me in his arms. Eventually, I fell back to sleep. When I woke up in the early afternoon the next morning, there was no sign of Simon. As I was ready to leave, I saw a note on the door from Simon saying he went for a walk to think. I took the note off the door and wrote back to him saying I went home to get some more sleep. I got home and took a long shower. I spent most of it just sitting under the hot water. I kept crying. I didn't know how to get over Charlie. I needed Luke or maybe Will. I decided to call Luke. "Robyn, I am so glad you called. I got the papers, filled them out, did the test and didn't hear anything back. I mean I know the odds are slim for me being the father, same with Caleb, but we've been waiting to hear from you." He said. "It was Will's." I said, starting to cry. "Luke, I'm a mess. I can't get over that and I can't get over Charlie." "I wish I was with you." He said. "I wish I was with you." I sobbed. "How is Will?" He asked. "Sad." I said. "That's too bad." He said. "How do I get over Charlie?" I asked with high hopes. Luke always gave the best advice. "You never will, Robyn." He said. "You never get over losing someone you love." "Then what do I do?" I asked. He sighed. "You need to find a new way to get over thing. We know what the answer was when you were here, but I don't think that is the person you want to be anymore." He said. "Hooking up with someone?" I asked. He laughed. "Yeah, that's not the person I want to be." I giggled. "You need a stress releiver. Start running or something. Or start going to the gym." He said. "Running does make me feel better." I said. "Well, there you go." He said. "I love you." I said. "And I love you." He said. "Call Abby soon, alright?" "I will." I said. "Bye. Take care, sweetie." He said and hung up. I threw on my sweats and went running down the street towards the beach. I focused on the sound of my breathing as my foot stepped onto the sidewalk along all the shops. I listened to the water and the people talking. It was very peaceful. I could feel my heart beating through my chest. When I reached the dead end, which was a bunch of giant rocks, I turned around and ran back home. I rinsed off in the shower and then took a nice long bath. I felt wonderful when I got out. I felt relaxed and I actually enjoyed the feeling of the burn in my muscles when I moved my legs and arms. I layed down in my underwear and turned on the tv. Right then, there was a knock at the door. I threw on a sundress and opened the door. There was a young lady standing there. She looked like she was about my age. Her hair was much longer and darker than mine. She was dressed a little strange. She was wearing an oversize spaghetti strapped white shirt with a long dark floral skirt. She looked like a hippie. She had a couple bags in her hands. "Rose." She said holding out her hand. I shook it. "Robyn, right?" She asked. I nodded and she walked into my apartment practically pushing me into the wall. "Who are you?" I asked. "Rose." She said as she starting to unpack one of the bags. She was pulling out all these soaps, lotions and some video cassette tapes. "I don't want to buy anything." I said. "I'm Caleb's big sister." She said. "And this is all free." Every time she moved her arms, her bracelet would jingle. It looked like a charm bracelet, but I couldn't tell what any of the little things on it were. "Sit down in front of me." She said. When I didn't sit down, she looked at me. She laughed. "Caleb asked me to come." She said. "You can trust me." I was so confused. I sat down on the floor in front of her. "Close your eyes." She said softly. I closed my eyes and she put some big headphones over my ears. "Listen to the music. Really focus on the music and try to clear your mind." She said with a weird soft voice. She turned on the music. First it sounded like waves and then some soft instrumental music started. She started to massage my neck, then went on to do my back. After a while, the music stopped. She took the headphones off and told me to open my eyes. She threw a book in front of me. It was called, Spa for the Soul. "Read this." She said. "And use this stuff in your bath when you have time to take a long one, so you can lay back and relax. And use a good breathing pattern while you breath in all the scents." "Thanks." I said as she handed me a few things in little unmarked bottles. "I put quite a bit in each one." She said. She took out a marker and wrote on the bottles. "I wrote down how much to put in each bath." "Okay." I said. "If you want to come over for a real massage, call me. I do it out of my house." She said. She wrote her number down and handed it to me. "And these tapes are the best yoga poses for stress releif and one has a small meditation segment that's just awesome." She explained. "Okay. Great. Thank you so much." I said. "And take one of these each day. They're the vitamins a women needs each day to stay energized, feel healthy and all that goods stuff. It releives cramps and bloating too." She said. She handed me a bag of tea's. "Each one says what they are best for. Like this one." She said picking one up. "Good for stress releif. The Rose Hip is awesome for that." She said. "And all this stuff works?" I asked. She smiled. "Amazingly." She answered. I nodded. "Thanks. I might take you up on that offer for the massage too." I said. "Any time." She said. "Just give me a call. Oh, do you like insence?" I giggled. "Never really had any of my own. My friend Charlie use to light it all the time though." "Well, here is some." She said handing me a cute little box. "They are the cone ones. And here is a holder for them." "Thank you so much for all of this." I said. "Let me get you some money. I know this stuff isn't cheap." "Caleb paid me for the stuff that cost money." She said. "And some of this stuff is made so cheap that I didn't bother getting money for it." She explained. "You should come over one day and see for yourself. It's fun." "I will." I said smiling. She stood up. "And smoke a hookah with me." She said. I giggled. "Sounds fun." I said. "It's just me and my weird friend Omar that live at the house." She said. "He's way more into this stuff than me. People think I am crazy, they should see him." She laughed. "He's a great guy though. And very attractive. Not that that matters." I smiled. "Well, I'd love to meet him and hang out." I said. "You free tonight?" She asked. I smiled. "Yeah." "Call me later and I can pick you up." She said. "Thank you so much." I said. "Do you smoke pot?" She asked. "No, not really." I said. "I'll make sure that Omar keeps that in his room then." She said. "Oh that's okay. You don't have to do that. It's at least fun to observe." I said. She smiled. "See you later." She said and left. She changed my mood instantly. I was excited to have some new friends. They seemed so different too.
