"Good Morning, love." I heard Charlie say. I sat up on the couch. "Rose will make a good friend." He said turning towards her. She was sitting in front of the tv doing yoga. "She can't hear you?" I asked him. "Or see you?" "If she were in your dreams too, then I suppose she would be able to hear and see me." He answered. "I'm dreaming." I said. "Rose?" I called out. She didn't acknowledge me and continued to do her yoga. "Rose?" I called out again, a little louder this time. No responce. "I don't get it." I said. "She is right there, so clearly she in my dream. . . if this is one." "You have to stop thinking about me, love." He said. "You have a great life here." I nodded. Rose turned to me. "Hey, I'm about to go for a jog." She said looking at me. She got up and put her hand on my shoulder. She started to shake me. "Care to join me? Robyn?" She said. "Okay, goodness!" I shouted. I opened my eyes and I was confused. She wasn't wearing the same thing and yoga was not on the tv. "Didn't mean to startle you." She said giggling. "I was having a weird dream." I told her. "Sorry." I sat up. "Do you want to go jogging with me?" She asked. Omar walked out with a big bong in his hand. He sat down in front of the tv. "We're going to go jog for a bit." She told him. "Okay." He said smiling. She gave me some clothes to change into and we walked out to the street. We began to jog. "This is part of my daily routine. I use to be chubby. I hated it." She said. "I guess that's what got me into all this health stuff." I smiled and she continued. "Caleb was always super skinny. I was just the opposite." She said. "He is pretty thin." I giggled. "Never thought he'd turn out to be gay." She said. "He likes girls too." I said. She gave me a strange look. "What?" She asked. "Oh. Uh, I think he likes both." I said. "Really?" She asked. "Yeah." "Hmm." She said, as if she didn't beleive me. We jogged around the block and back to her house. When we got back, Omar was sitting in the middle of the floor with his eyes closed. "He's meditating." She whispered to me. She took my hand and took me to a bedroom. "This is my bedroom." She said. "Oh, I should totally show you some great pictures of Cal." "Okay." I said. "Oh, you can take a shower if you want." She said smiling. "Okay." I said. She handed me a towel and showed me where the bathroom was. The bathroom was nothing like the rest of the house. It was set up all nice and fancy. It was very girly with lots of pink things. It smelled really good too. I turned on the shower and hopped in. After a few minutes went by, I heard the bathroom door open. I screamed and tried to cover myself up. The shower had glass doors and you could kind of see through them. "It's just me." I heard Omar say. I heard him going through things in the medicine cabinet. "Omar!" I heard Rose shout. "Get out of there!" "I'm just looking for my other bottle of patchouli oil." He said. "Look for it when she's done." She told him. "Rose." He said. I peaked out and saw her push him out the door and close it behind her. I laughed. I finished up and wrapped a towel around me. "Any idea how much weed can cure?" Omar asked me. I shook my head no. "Oh, it cures many things." He said. I giggled. "Pain?" I asked. "Of course." He said. "I mean like pain, emotionally." I said. "Yup. It cures that." He said. "Anguish?" I asked. "Yup." "A broken heart?" I asked. He nodded as he loaded his pipe. I went back to the bathroom and got dressed. "Sexual frustration?" I asked. He looked up at me. "I think I could take care of that one for you." He said. I giggled. "Kidding. Yes, it cures that too." He said. "I'm seeing this guy, but. . . I don't know. I guess he is just different than what I'm use to." I said sitting down next to him. "Stress? Does it releive stress?" I asked. He smiled and nodded. "Sounds like my kinda medicine." I said. "It sure is good stuff." He said. I giggled. "I'm thinkin I should stick with yoga and tea." I said. "That works too." He said. I smiled. "You're easy to talk to." I told him. He looked at me. "So are you." He said. "Would you mind taking me home before you light that up?" I asked. "Not at all." He said. "Thank you." I said smiling. "Not a problem." He said. "Rose took a walk to the drug store to get some milk. I'll leave her a note." He left her a note and then drove me home in his old beat up Gremlin. I tried not to laugh at his car. Especially when I saw what he had done to the inside. It was like traveling back to the sixties. "If you ever want to talk about that broken heart or anguish, give me a ring." He said as I stepped out of the car. I smiled at him. "Definatly." I said. I closed the door and walked up to my apartment. I couldn't wait to call Simon. I actually had new friends in town that I could introduce him to!
