The House Of Blues was closed down for the day and night. It was full of wedding decorations, and flowers. The music and band posters mingling with the wedding flowers and ribbons made for an interesting look. I loved it! I looked around and everyone looked so happy! I saw Luke and Caleb, and waived. Then I saw Travis, and he smiled at me. Will blew me a kiss as I walked toward the stage where the vows would be givin. I looked down and saw that I was the one wearing the white dress. It was simple and beautiful. It had black ribbion around the edges of the bottom, and top. There was a black ribbon tied around my waist. When I looked back up at the stage my groom was up there facing away from me. I smiled. He was in a black pinstripe suit and had on black and white converse shoes. I was helped up on stage by my little brother who was holding a baby girl. I stood next to my groom, and he turned to face me. I smiled at his red tie. When I looked up I saw his face and my heart froze. "Charlie?" I whispered. He smiled at me. I turned around and Abby was standing behind me in a pink Dress. Luke was behind Charlie, as his best man. I looked forward and Simon was standing there waiting to marry us. "I'm confused." I said. "Just say I Do, Love." Charlie said. I could hear Simon talking, but everything was muffled. "I do." I said. Simon said something else, and then Charlie took my hands in his. "Kiss me." He said, and leaned in and kissed me. I closed my eyes and melted in his embrace. When I opened them again we were sitting under a tree in a park we used to go to. There wasn't a sound, it was dead quiet. "Where are we?" I asked Charlie. "I don't know." He said, not taking his eyes off of me. I smiled. "I'm so confused." I told him. "I'm not." He said. "Then help me out here." I said, and smiled. "I'm no dream interpreter." He said. "This is a dream?" I asked, feeling sad. "I think so. I don't know." He said. We looked around and everything was in black and white, except for us. "I'm scared." I told him. We both stood up and started walking. As we walked the scenery around us seemed to speed by us, like when you are driving a car. Then suddenly it stopped and we were back at The House of Blues. I looked at the stage and this time Abby was standing there with Carl. Luke was marrying them. I saw myself standing off to Abby's side, and Carl's brother on his side. I looked at Charlie, and we were both in regular clothes now. "What is going on?" I asked. "I don't know." Charlie said. "It makes me sad. I want to be there with everyone, but I can't." He said. "Why not? Lets go." I told him. He shook his head. "I can't." He said. "I'm still dead, Robyn." "OH. Am I?" I asked him. "No." He said, not taking his eyes off Abby and Carl. I looked and they kissed. Everyone was clapping and cheering. "Can we go." Charlie asked. "Yeah." I said. He took my hand and we started walking. When we stopped we were in the middle of the desert. It was cold and night time out. "Charlie, is this your world?" I asked him. "Yeah." He said. "The limbo you were talking about?" "Yeah. Nothing ever makes sense. I never know if I'm here, or if I'm actualy looking at the living world with you." He said. "Are you all alone here?" I asked him. He nodded. "Until now. You are here. At first I thought it was just me seeing images and old memories until you spoke on the stage." He said. "You looked happy again. When we were up there." I told him. "I was." He said, then a tear ran down his cheek. I kissed him on the cheek right over where the tear was. "Will you always be here?" I asked him. "I don't think so." He said. "Are you here because of me?" I asked. "I don't know." He said. "Is it because I can't let you go?" I asked. "I think it is because I can't let you go. Or any of my other memories." He said. "Don't be afraid to." I told him. "I'm not. I'm just sad. I'm forever sad here. I like it better when I get to visit you." He told me. I put my arm around him and layed my head on his shoulder. I closed my eyes and started to cry.
"Robyn." I heard. I sat up, and my lamp came on. "It's okay. You were dreaming." Simon said. I was still crying. "It felt real, well sort of." I told him. "It's okay. You are awake now." He said. "Yeah." I said, and smiled. I looked at the clock and it was 6:55 in the morning. "I hate when I wake up right before the alarm!" I said. "It's okay. Why don't you start getting ready. I'll go get some coffee. We've got a busy day ahead of us." He said. "Yeah. Simon." I said. "Yeah?" He asked. "I'm scared." I told him. "Of what?" He asked. "Of going back home." "It's okay. It's only for a few days." He said. "I know." I sighed. He kissed my cheek, then stood up. "It'll be okay." He said. I smiled and watched him get dressed. "I'll be back soon." He said, and blew me a kiss, then left. I got up, showered, and got dressed. Then I called Abby to let her know I was picking my dress up from the tailors, then Simon and I would catch our flight out to Utah. She sounded so nervous and kind of crazy on the phone. I had to fight not to laugh at her. Simon came back shortly after. "Hey. Coffee." He said, handing me a cup. "Thanks sweetie." I said, and kissed him. After we packed up my car with our stuff, we drove to pick up my dress. The lady pulled it from the back and let me try it on one more time. It was the first time Simon got to see it. "Wow. You look amazing." He said, as I walked out. "Thank you." I told him. I looked at myself in the mirror. The dress was pink and reminded me of an old cocktail dress. I smiled when I saw it. "Everything okay with it?" The woman asked. "It's perfect." It old her. After I changed and paid her for it, Simon and I drove to the airport.
