I stood on the beach in my dress waiting to walk down the eisle. Luke and I had originaly planned on getting married a year or so down the road, but with the baby we moved things up. I felt him kick, and held my stomach.
"Are you okay?" Abby asked, looking concerned.
"Yeah. he kicked." I told her.
"Awwww." She said, and hugged me. Just then the violins started up. Or wedding was on the beach. It was small, and real casual. I was wearing a simple white dress, and had my hair up real loose with white flowers in it. Everyone in the party was barefoot.
"This is it. Are you ready?" Abby asked me.
"More then ready." I told her. Rose hugged me, then walked down the eisle with Travis. I watched them split and stand on either side of the archway. I saw Luke standing there with Caleb by his side, and my heart fluttered. Next Connie walked down with Russell. Abby hugged me, kissed my cheek, then wiped her eyes and took her spot to the left of the pastor.
"I'm so proud of you." My dad said, and linked his arm with mine.
"Thanks dad." I said, and hugged him. The violins started 'Here Comes the Bride'.
"That is our cue." My dad said, and we started the walk down the eisle. I thought of Charlie. I felt like he was standing there with me, and I felt incredably happy. When I looked up I saw Luke. His whole face lit up when he saw me.
The rest of the wedding was kind of a blur! There was just so much going on. I just remember it being one of the most amazing nights of my life. Later that evening, after the reception, Luke and I lay in bed in our Suite.
"Is this real?" Luke asked after a few minutes of silence.
"Yes, it's real." I told him.
"Good." He said, and kissed my forehead. "I've never loved anyone, as much as I have always loved you."
"I feel the same way about you." I told him, and he smiled.
"And soon we'll have this little guy to share our world with." I said.
"What?" Luke asked. "Little GUY?"
"Yeah. We're having a boy." I said.
"But I thought-"
"I told the doctor to lie to you and say it was too soon to tell. I wanted to surprise you with the news." I told him.
"A son." He said, dreamily.
"A son." I repeated. He smiled, and leaned over and kissed me. And so started our new life together.

"Charlie!" I shouted. "Charles Willaim, you get your little arse over here!"
Yes. We named our son after you know who. He ran over, and I took his hand.
"You know you aren't suposed to be in the backyard without my permission." I scolded.
"Sorry." He said.
"Are you ready for your big day?" I asked him.
"Yes!" He shouted.
"What are you doing today?"
"Starting school!" He said, getting excited.
"How are you 4 and a half already? And so BIG!" I said, picking up and toting him inside.
"There is the little monster!" Luke said. He was standing at the stove cooking breakfast in a pink apron.
"My aren't you hot in that little pink number." I joked.
"You know it." He said, and struck a pose. I just laughed and put little Charlie in his booster seat at the table.
"So, busy day today?" I asked Luke, walking over and kissing him.
"Yup. I have a meeting with Hypnotic Tattoo, and a few other sponsers for the big show in October." He said.
"Great! That is going to be one hell of a show." I said.
"I know. I have to run by the studio and meet Van. He's having trouble with some of the equipment. With the bar doing good in Utah, and our venue here doing so well, we can finaly afford some new equipment for the Studio." He said.
"Good! Parker and his band will be so thrilled!" I told him.
"Oh! Abby called." He said.
"She did?" I asked.
"Yeah. You were upstairs getting Charlie dressed. She is flying out with Carl in two weeks witht he twins." He said.
"Yay!" I shouted. "Charlie! Do you want to see Aunt Abby, Uncle Carl, and Billie and Joe?" I asked him.
"YES!" He shouted, and started hitting the table.
"I can't believe she named her kids after green day." Luke said, shutting off the oven.
"Hey! Not after green day. After Billie Joe." I told him, and he laughed. "But don't be suprised if her next litter is Tre Cool and Mike."
Luke laughed really hard. He walked over and scooped eggs on our plates next to our toast. He leaned down and kissed Charlie on the head then set the skillet back on the stove before he sat down with us.
"Now, eat up Mister." I told Charlie. He started scarfing his food.
"He eats like Charlie did. Remember? He'd eat all our food at the old diner." Luke asked.
"Yeah." I said, and laughed.
"So, when is the next trip to Utah?" I asked, taking a bite of food.
"Next month. The three day weekend." He answered.
"Great! I want to go too. Madre has beein asking to see Charlie again." I told him. "I want see Travis, Will, and the rest of my family too." I said.
"Sounds great." Luke said. When we finished eating I helped luke clean everything up then bundled up Charlie and found his little back back and lunch box. I picked up Charlie and Luke came over and Hugged us both.
"You be a good boy in school today, okay son." He said to Charlie.
"Okay. You know I will Daddy." Charlie said. For as wild and crazy as he was like Charlie, he was incredibly smart like luke.
"Bye honey." I told Luke, and kissed him.
"Bye. I'll be gone when you get back. The meeting is at 9." He said.
"Okay. Love you." I said, and walked outside with Charlie. I put him in the car and drove him to his preschool. I was getting him out of his seat when he started playing with my bracelet.
"What is that?" He asked.
"That is the bracelet your Uncle Charlie gave me. A long time ago." It told him.
"The Radhead one?" He asked, and I laughed.
"Yes, the Radiohead one." I confirmed.
"Can I meet Charlie?" He asked.
"No babe. Remember, Uncle Charlie died before you were born." I answered. I felt my eyes water a little.
"Oh." he said, looking disspointed.
"Tell you what. When we go to Utah again I will take you to see his grave. Okay?" I said.
"Okay!" He answered. I pulled him out then walked him to his classroom. He was smaller then most of the ohter kids. Just like Luke always was.
"Bye momma." He said, and hugged my leg, then ran off to play with the other kids. He was already running around and talking to everyone. He really did remind me a lot of Charlie too. I confirmed with the teacher that I'd need to pick him up at 1:00, then I left. I stood and watched him through the little window for a few moments. I walked out the car and started to cry. My phone rang and I answered it.
"Hello Luke." I said, and sniffed.
"Are you okay?" He asked.
"Yeah. Our boy is getting to big to fast." I told him.
"It's okay." He said.
"He reminds me a lot of Charlie too. Somedays I swear I see Charlie when I look at him." I said.
"Me too." Luke said.
"Don't worry. We have another little one coming." He said.
"I know." I said, and touched my stomach. I had just found out I was 3 weeks pregnant. "I know." I said.
"I just wanted to say I love you. I'll see you tonight, Robyn." Luke said.
"I love you too." I told him, and hung up. I drove home and put on some Oasis to listen to while I waited for it to be time to pick up little Charlie. I closed my eyes and saw Charlie in my mind.
"Hello, Love." He said. "I told you everything was going to be okay."
"I know. You were right." I told him. He blew me a kiss, and I opened my eyes. "You were right."
