*Chapter Thirty-Six*

We spent the whole night talking about relationships and telling funny stories. We decided not to sleep together yet, because him and Caleb were suppose to just be on a break. He wanted to talk to him before he moved on. He said he would feel like he is cheating on Caleb if he didn't end things for good with him. I respected that. We layed in bed for a while and fell asleep. When I woke up the next morning, I heard the shower running. I went to the kitchen to find something for us to eat for breakfast. I didn't have much. Pretty much just oatmeal and cereal. I took it all out of the cubbard, so he could just choose what he wanted. "Hey you." He said smiling as he walked into the room.
"Good Morning." I said.
He came up behind me and put his arms around me. "I'm gonna talk to Abby." He said.
"Okay."
"Do you think I should move here?" He asked.
"Do you want to?" I asked.
"Yeah. I was up all night thinking about it." He said. "And Carl hates Utah, so I was thinking of talking to them about moving here too."
"Oh." I turned around so I was facing him.
"Is that not a good idea?" He asked.
"No. I would love that." I said smiling.
"Robyn, when you left. . ." He said looking like he was about to cry.
"What?"
"Nothing was the same." He said. "I felt alone. Even though I had Caleb and Rio. And Travis."
"Don't be silly." I said.
"I felt alone even though I had them." He said. "Abby said the same thing."
"Really?" I asked. "I feel so loved." I giggled.
"I think we just need eachother. We gotta stick together." He said.
"Abby really likes Utah, Luke." I said.
"One day at the beach and she'll really like it here." He said.
"You think so?" I asked.
"I know so." He said.
I sighed. "We have to really make sure it is what they both want."
"We will." He said. He gave me a hug. "I gotta go brush my teeth. Get dressed. I am taking you to breakfast."
I smiled and watched him walk back to the bathroom in his towel. I got dressed, threw my hair up and sat down on the futon with my purse. He walked back out a few minutes later. "Ready?" He asked.
"Yup." I said standing up.
We went to the diner down the street that I hadn't tried out yet. It reminded us of all the times we hung out at the diner back home. "That moment when we were all sitting at the diner and you saw that add in the paper." He said.
"I know." I smiled.
"Abby has to move here." He said.
"Hopefully she does." I said.
He nodded. "Robyn, do you miss Will?" He asked.
I put my hand around my coffee mug to warm it up. I clutched it. "Sometimes. Why?"
"Just wondering."
"What is it?" I asked.
"He was the father." He said.
"Yeah." I said. "And?"
"I don't know." He said. "I guess I was jelous."
"It's nothing to be jelous about, silly." I said.
"I know. Sorry I brought it up." He said.
"When I'm ready to talk about all that, we'll talk about it. I promise." I said. "I am just finally kind of moving on from it."
He smiled and took my hand. "Okay." He said.
We finished eating and went back to my place. We watched some tv, then he called Caleb. He stepped outside to call him and he was out there for over an hour. It worried me a little. When he came back inside, he said he was meeting Caleb for lunch. When he left, I just layed back down and watched more TV. I fell asleep and didn't wake up until I heard knocking on my front door. I opened my eyes and looked at the clock. It was almost nine. "Robyn!" I heard Luke shout. I walked to the door and opened it slowly. "Thought you were just meeting for lunch. . ." I said. I went to the kitchen and he walked in, closing the door behind him. "Sorry." He said. He walked into the kitchen and put his arms around me like he did that morning. "Not going to explain?" I asked.
"We went to the beach and talked." He said. "We didn't want to talk in a restaurant."
"You've been gone a really long time." I said.
"I know." He said. "It's over though."
"So, all you did was talk?" I asked trying not to get choked up.
He turned me around so I was facing. "I'm just going to tell you that it's over." He said. "It's you and me now." He smiled.
"I can't help but picture the things you could have been doing all this time." I said.
"Well, stop picturing it." He said.
"Did you kiss him?" I asked.
"Robyn?" He said softly. He put his hand under my chin and lifted my head up a little. He gave me a kiss. "Caleb and I are no longer." He said.
"You didn't answer my question." I said.
"Because there is no reason for us to get caught up in anything with Caleb. All I did was get caught up in you when I was with Caleb. I don't want it to be the same mistake again." He said.
I just nodded and tried to let it go. We weren't officially a couple until that moment, so I had no reason to get jelous. I tried my hardest not to think about it. "Let's focus on now." He said smiling.
"I love you, Luke." I said.
"I love you more." He said.
I giggled.
"Oh. I talked to Abby today." He said.
"Oh?"
He nodded and looked a little upset.
"What did she say?" I asked.
He shook his head no.
"Oh."
"I guess I just have to realize that she has Carl." He smirked. "She doesn't need me looking after her anymore."
I took his hands in mine. "Is she staying in Utah?" I asked.
He shook his head no. "Carl talked her into moving to Portland." He said.
"Really?" I asked smiling. I was excited for her.
"Yup." He said. "I think we're all finally growing up."
"You have to meet Omar." I said.
He laughed. "Okay."
I put my shoes on and grabbed my purse.
"You mean now?" He asked.
"Yeah." I said. "He's probably up smoking."
"Are you going to get upset if I smoke?" He asked.
I gave him a dirty look.
"Okay I won't. Sheesh." He said.
"Of course you can." I said.
"You are different in San Diego." He said.
"I'm better in San Diego." I said.
He laughed. "Am I?"
I sighed. "Eh."
"Jerk." He said.
"Butthead." I said. I ran out the door and he chased after me. He picked me up and threw me into the car. We were laughing so hard.
"So, this Omar charactor better be all you've talked him up to be." He said.
I laughed. "Oh he is."
